Shiplog

Global with real time updates

Oddstøl Elektronikk has developed a product for efficient internet-based fleet tracking, Shiplog. Shiplog has highly detailed sea charts, and gives users real time overview of all their vessels.

Shiplog is divided into two product groups: Shiplog Fleet as a fleet tracking tool, and Shiplog Port as a harbour safety solution. Shiplog Fleet gives a shipping company continuous overview of all it's vessels, as long as the vessels have Internet connection (VSAT, Inmarsat C etc.). Shiplog Port gives an overview of all traffic in a harbour, and is a unique tool for harbour authorities, service companies and other industry related to ports of call. 

With AIS and Shiplog-link onboard, a vessel will send information regarding it's position and data to the Shiplog server regardless of where it is in the world. The Port version receives the position and data from all vessels which have AIS onboard. The users are allocated their own passwords and receive the information from vessels on the internet, via our Shiplog server. Shiplog is an internet-based system, and is therefore independent of what kind of computer you have or where you are. All you need is the internet and you will therefore be able to use hand-held terminals such as laptops, PDA or 3G mobile phones.

Reasonably priced with low traffic costs

Shiplog is an internet-based system, for which you use your existing computers. The program and data are stored on our Shiplog servers. This means that we can supply Shiplog at an attractive price. In combination with OE-GUARD 3G transponders in the vessels, this will give you free use of the internet onboard.

Oddstøl Elektronikk has been involved in developing marine electronics for over 75 years. We also have a great deal of experience within the fields of telecommunications, especially design, installation and service for ships, offshore and land-based solutions.

OE-GUARD is a set of products used for surveillance and security, delivered by Oddstøl Elektronikk. The products are modular and provide possibilities for extensions and updates.
